Very Interesting and cool approach. But I'm wondering how durable those clips and mounting screws are. And also how influential to sound of drums those clips are. I'm waiting long term reviews after someone playing these drums for several years.

The quick clips seem awesome, but how replaceable are they? No matter how high of a quality of plastic you use, with regular gigging wear and tear, eventually those plastic clips will loosen, and won't hold the drums together the same way they do when brand new

Super awesome - this is exactly what I need as I am gigging in hotels all over Europe and need to fly cheap. It would be great and much cheaper to check in just one hard case with nested shells and the hardware I would take in the cabin (Yamaha crosstown). How can I get such a kit in Europe? Or should I just buy one the next time I am in the US and take it with me?

I’m imagining a 3 piece: 18 diameter x15 bass drum, 15 diameter x12 floor tom, 12 diameter x8 rack tom. Just legs on the bass drum; no tom or cymbal mount.

Superb. I've been out of the gigging circuit since moving states but when I get back out there I'll be sure to make these nesting kits my first stop!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a nesting kit with a 22” BD. Well done.

I own one of the 4 piece kits with snare. These kits are AMAZING! Great design, looks, size options, and I constantly get complimented on the sound. Not to mention the extra space in my vehicle!

Listening to the kit with coated heads and at a higher tuning makes me think I need to take off the Aquarian reflector heads and bring up the tuning some. I have at least one guy who keeps trying to buy the kit-keeping the Quarantine kit for now. When do you thibk you’ll do a copper kit Josh?

Okay well here’s a question for you then ; if the difference isn’t resonance, what if any really is the difference? Does the stave drum not hold together after 15+years or something?

I was surprised. I really thought that I would like the Studio Mod the best based on what I thought the woods would produce, but in fact I liked the original plain Flextuned maple the best.

That 24" Fudge Stripe Cookie-ride sounds way better than a giant dinner plate build has a right to. Must be thinner than a K Custom.

As far as i know the Ludwig Supras have ...or had....this kind of infinitive snarebeds.

That was a very nice comparison. All the 13's sounded better to me than the 14's. Is that a matter of tuning? The 14's are most likely great drums too

Absolutely LOVE this kit /idea -concept! I’ve been doing “versions” of this idea for the last 15 years,but,I guess INDE has the proper “tools” for this lightweight “solution “. Seriously- I used to use those old fashioned Ludwig bass drum mounted cymbal arms for my ride and crash cymbals. Then I purchased a DW Frequent Flyer kit(which I love; 20/12/14 shallow sizes),but ,the DW arms are still pretty heavy duty,as in weight! A few questions! 1.) what type of wood are wayfarers 2.)what are the exact dimensions of each drum,3.) Btw time I order all of this stuff,it will probably be Uber expensive. Do you sell this concept kit fully set up & 4.) Cost?!?💕🥁🙏🎶
